Down Syndrome Indiana is a not-for-profit organization serving the needs of individuals with Down syndrome and their families

About Us

The Early Childhood Meeting Place provides a central location where Indiana's early childhood professionals and families of young children can find information about resources and upcoming events. The Early Childhood Meeting Place has been in existence since 1998, when it was originally created as a statewide training calendar for the First Steps Unified Training System. In 2005, the Early Childhood Meeting Place expanded to include information and resources for families, funded through a contract with the Indiana State Department of Health, Sunny Start: Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds Initiative.

The Early Childhood Meeting Place is a long-term project of the Early Childhood Center, Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, Indiana University – Bloomington. For more information about the Early Childhood Center, visit our website at http://www.iidc.indiana.edu/ecc
